Privacy policy
It covers the website gate32.autoritasai.com and the Gate32 app on Google Play, which is this same website running inside Chrome. Last updated: 5 November 2026.
The short version
- Your audio, your video and the transcribed text never leave your device. Transcription is done by a model that downloads once and runs in your browser. You can check: once the model is downloaded, go offline and it keeps working.
- No accounts, no sign-up, no first-party cookies.
- Actions are counted anonymously —"a transcription started", "an SRT was exported"— to learn what works and what breaks. Never the content.
What stays on your device
All of this lives in your browser's storage, not on any server, and you can delete it whenever you like:
- The speech recognition model (50–250 MB), so it isn't downloaded again.
- Your recent transcripts, so you can pick them up again from "Recent".
- Your preferences: model, language and little else.
- A copy of the website so it works offline.
- Whatever you share to Gate32 from another app, only until the page picks it up.
- Two dates —your first visit and your latest— to know whether people come back, and an action tally that exists only in your browser.
To delete it all: in the browser, "Clear browsing data" for this site; in the app, "Clear storage" in Android settings, or uninstall it.
What it connects to, and why
- Vercel, which hosts the website. Like any server, it receives the technical data of each request (IP address, browser) to serve the page and protect it from abuse. It also counts visits without cookies.
- Hugging Face, which serves the model files. Downloading them sends it that same technical data. It never receives your audio.
- GoatCounter, the analytics. It receives the name of the page or action, the site you came from, your browser and system, screen size and country, derived from the IP without storing it. No cookies. Actions carry technical data at most —the chosen model, the audio's minutes, the file extension—, never file names or text.
None of the three receives your audio or your transcripts.
Microphone and tabs
Gate32 only uses the microphone when you press "Record", and only captures another tab when you press the meeting or video button and pick the tab yourself in the browser's dialog. Recordings stay on your device like any other file. It never uses the camera. Recording other people requires their consent: tell them first.
The Android app and payments
The Google Play app does the same as the website and handles the same data. The Pro subscription, when it exists, is charged by Google Play: payment data is handled by Google under its own policy, and Gate32 only learns whether the subscription is active, never your card.
Your rights and who answers
Gate32 is made by one person, Héctor Partida (AutoritasAI). We keep no data that identifies you, so there is no profile of you on any server of ours to access, correct or delete: what exists is on your device and you control it. For any privacy question or request, write to hpartida@autoritasai.com.
If this changes —say, if there were ever accounts to sync between devices— this page will change first, with the date at the top.
